An Electrical Engineer at Fallas Automation plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and successful implementation of electrical systems within case packaging equipment. This role involves designing, developing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and construct electrical assemblies and schematics for packaging equipment across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design projects with an emphasis on electrical functionality and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards (e.g., CAT3, PLd) to minimize risk and support regulatory adherence.
  • Research and implement new systems, including updated components, software, and safety technologies.
  • Communicate directly with customers to support electrical design, feedback, and implementation of new machinery.
  • Provide timely technical support for existing equipment to reduce downtime and improve reliability and serviceability.
  • Perform SISTEMA evaluations to validate safety requirements and system compliance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and enhance sustainability.
  • Create and deliver training programs to support knowledge transfer within the electrical department.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor (2D/3D CAD Software).
  • Basic scripting knowledge for AutoCAD applications (e.g., C++).
  • Understanding of Ethernet/IP network topography and topology.
  • UL508A Certification (or willingness to complete upon hire).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with NFPA
    79, NEC, and UL508A standards.
  • Knowledge of Category 3/4 and Performance Level machine safety standards.
  • Understanding of robotic safety stop categories.
  • Experience with robotics in a manufacturing environment.
