We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Systems Engineer with strong knowledge of Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and extensive project management experience. The senior manager will lead teams performing complex modification and integration efforts, communicate across functional groups to improve processes, and contribute to departmental goals.

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of technical engineers across multiple business areas.
• Recommend tactics and strategies to impact overall business results.
• Forecast Systems Engineering manpower needs based on program demand.
• Determine hiring needs, conduct searches, and onboard System Engineers.
• Facilitate effective interaction between project engineers, program management, and customers.
• Support proposal development, including labor estimation and technical response development.
• Establish training requirements for professional development.
• Manage department overhead budget and ensure staff have necessary tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate problem solving, leadership, strategic planning, and cross‑functional behavior.
• Review program budgets and schedules with SE program teams.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior management.

  Harris during interactions with military and commercial customers.
• Author/review physical architectures incorporating vendor equipment into airborne and commercial systems.
• Ensure programs translate customer requirements into unique, verifiable system‑level requirements.
• Lead and review the systems engineering trade study process.
• Evaluate trade studies for accuracy and completeness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written, oral, and team communication skills.
• Experience working independently and within team environments.
• Experience in systems engineering activities such as analysis of customer requirements, detailed specifications, and entire program/engineering lifecycle phases.
• IRAD and technical baseline development/management.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Analysis of customer requirements, including system and sub‑system trade studies.
• Analysis of detailed hardware and software specifications for systems, subsystems, and key components.
• Full program/engineering lifecycle phases and activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of leadership in Systems Engineering and Integration experience.
• Graduate Degree with 10 years of leadership in Systems Engineering and Integration experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of leadership in Systems Engineering and Integration experience.
• Must have an active Secret DoD Clearance at the time of hire.
