We are currently seeking a Corporate Trainer, ESL and Foreign Languages, who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.

Classes can be scheduled during the day, at night or on the weekend; at the client's worksite, online or at one of our world-class facilities.

We'll count on you to provide language training that's tailored to meet HCC clients' needs and objectives.

First, assess the client's business training needs; second, develop and deliver the training in 1‑3 day classroom formats, using texts, handouts, class exercises and assessment tools.

Provide language training to corporate clients on an on‑call basis. Deliver training based on client's needs and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide language training to corporate clients as needed.
  • Be available to deliver classes at the client location/facility.
  • Assess training needs for clients with Corporate College staff.
  • Customize training content and format to fit client objectives.
  • Deliver training using relevant materials such as texts, handouts, exercises or assessment tools.
  • Continuously update and revise course content and teaching methodology.
  • Maintain familiarity with current texts, materials, teaching aids and techniques and recommend adoption.
  • Actively seek ways to improve instruction.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with clients and Corporate College as requested including Adjunct Faculty Orientation.
  • Maintain accurate records, including class schedules, student rosters, 3‑day attendance and grade rosters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English or any Foreign Language, Education, or related field from a regionally accredited institution, or four (4) years directly related work experience may be substituted.
  • Certification in ESL, Command Spanish, or any other foreign language teaching is a plus.
  • Three or more licenses/certifications related to specific disciplines.
  • Nine or more years of demonstrated, subject‑related industry experience, four to six years of experience working in HCC conducting corporate training required.
  • Community college, university teaching, or corporate training experience highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience in language curriculum development and ability to encourage critical thinking and problem‑solving.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Fluent in desired language and English.
  • Comfortable training in corporate environments, able to interact professionally with corporate clients.
  • Professionally dressed.
  • Ability to customize content, produce professional quality handouts and presentations.
  • Knowledge of learning theory, leadership theories, current developments in related fields, technology use, and innovative curriculum ideas.
  • Ability to present ideas, meet deadlines, perform essential functions.
