Industrial Maintenance - Instructor
Texas State Technical College (TSTC)
OverviewIndustrial Maintenance – Instructor will deliver approved curriculum, provide high‑quality instruction, integrate technology, mentor students, manage records, support student retention, participate in recruitment, and exhibit TSTC Core values.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver instruction, develop syllabi, and facilitate learning.
- Interpret and administer assessments, provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate technology to enrich learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate student records and instructional environment.
- Advisement to students, collaborate with Student Success.
- Participate in recruitment events, assist in program planning.
- Demonstrate service and teamwork, flexible for evening, weekend, or summer assignments.
- Associate degree in a closely related field and demonstrated teaching discipline.
- Verifiable professional experience may be accepted in lieu of other requirements.
- Verifiable work experience with industrial equipment.
- Strong electrical programming skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical motor control systems and schematics.
- Working knowledge of maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
- Preferred: basic fluid power systems, PLC operation, speed control drives, machining/welding, related teaching experience.
Target hiring range: $68,400.91 – $78,661.05; final offer based on qualifications.
