Principal Investigator (PI) – Clinical Research Opportunity
Location: Waco, TX 76710
Employment Type: Direct Hire, W-2
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Open to have someone start part-time with transition to full-time
Annual Salary: $280,000 – $290,000 with bonus potential
Requirements:
No prior experience in clinical research or as a Principal Investigator
Medix is partnered with a well‑known, multi‑site clinical research organization supporting ongoing clinical trials. This Principal Investigator opportunity is an excellent fit for physicians with a strong clinical background who are eager to gain hands‑on clinical research experience. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Principal Investigator overseeing clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety.
- Collaborate with research staff, study sponsors, and site teams to execute trials successfully.
- Participate in study start‑up, patient recruitment, monitoring, and data review as required.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred (other specialties considered).
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Strong interest in clinical research; prior PI or Sub‑Investigator experience preferred but not required.
General Medicine, MASH/NASH, Metabolic, Vaccine trials, Obesity/Weight Loss, Rheumatology, etc.
