Position: Inside Phone Sales Representative

Role Highlights

  • $19-$24/hour depending on experience
  • Top performers earn $50,000-$75,000/year with spiffs & commissions
  • Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM (no nights or weekends)

Role Overview

You’ll be the voice of Danco, handling a mix of inbound and outbound calls. This role blends customer service and inside sales by booking appointments, educating customers, and converting conversations into scheduled work.

Success in this role comes from listening well, following proven scripts and frameworks, confidently handling objections, and consistently hitting performance targets.

Key Responsibilities Inbound Calls
  • Book service, maintenance, replacement, and plumbing appointments
  • Qualify customer needs using scripts and booking frameworks
  • Deliver a professional, confident customer experience
Outbound Calls
  • Follow up on missed calls, unsold estimates, maintenance outreach, financing, and inactive customers
  • Complete assigned call lists within designated time blocks
  • Document all activity accurately in Service Titan
Performance & Activity
  • Maintain an average of 6-8 calls per hour
  • Meet booking, conversion, and follow-up targets
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation
  • Help optimize schedules and fill open capacity
Career Path

Structured advancement based on performance-not tenure:

CSR I → CSR II → CSR III

Progression is scorecard-based and tied to KPIs, ownership, and leadership approval.

Performance Metrics (Scorecard-Based)
  • Calls per hour (target: 6-8)
  • Inbound booking rate
  • Outbound conversion rate
  • Revenue booked
  • Maintenance memberships sold
  • Cancellation and missed call rates
Qualifications Experience
  • 1-3 years in customer service, call center, scheduling, or inside sales preferred
  • Home services or HVAC experience a plus
Skills & Traits
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Comfortable in a performance-driven environment
  • Coachable, accountable, and detail-oriented
  • CRM or scheduling software experience preferred (Service Titan a plus)
