The Accounting Internship is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide you with hands on experience that aligns with your interests and skillsets. Throughout your internship you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and contribute to projects that directly impact the business. In addition, you will gain exposure to our senior leadership through various networking opportunities and participate in team building activities with other interns.

The Accounting Intern will support our retail side of the business in the Finance department with a variety of work in Cash Applications, AR collections, and AP invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with cash applications through internal software for Miracle Ear retail clinics
- Contribute to the IDR process through reviewing purchase orders
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as but not limited to, Miracle Ear retail clinics, Accounts payable teams, and vendors
- Support with bank reconciliation and conduct inquiries on any discrepancies
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior graduation date between December 2026 - 2028
- Familiarity with GAAP
- Ability to manipulate data in excel, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP
- Understanding of Accounts Payable & Receivable Invoices and Statements.
- Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, etc.
- Familiarity with electronic Purchase Order system and application of invoices/lines to Purchase Order
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable / Receivable accounting systems. Oracle preferred.
