Job SummaryThe Dietary Cook position is responsible for providing nourishing food to residents, guests and employees under sanitary conditions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures food supplies are appropriate and places orders when necessary.
- Prepare meals for residents in accordance with diet orders and menus
- Assist the food service supervisor to determine the amount and type of food necessary to prepare the daily meals
- Monitor use of food to eliminate waste
- Serv Safe Certified preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have current Flu Shot
