Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, every weekend with an additional shift during the week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NICU RN for a level III neonatal intensive care unit. This role requires expertise in caring for micro preemies and using high-frequency ventilation. The RN will be required to float between five hospitals based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a busy NICU environment.

• Monitor patient conditions closely and manage complex care needs.

• Assist with procedures and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Educate families on care practices and support during this critical time.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of experience in NICU nursing, specifically in level III care.

• Experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation.

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.

• Epic charting system experience preferred.
