Associate Attorney

Overview

We have a full time opening for a well-rounded, highly motivated, Associate Attorney in our Voorhees, NJ office. The ideal candidate would have litigation experience. Any candidates that have construction and/or bankruptcy litigation experience will be given additional consideration in the hiring process. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling trials and motions, conducting discovery, legal research, brief writing, negotiating and settling cases.

A successful candidate will be licensed in NJ, have at least 1 to 5 years of experience in litigation, as well as the ability to work proactively and independently. PA bar, or the ability to waive into PA, would also be highly desireable.

• Handle trials and motions, conduct discovery, perform legal research, draft briefs, negotiate and settle cases.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional development.
• Be able to handle a high volume of cases and travel throughout NJ; attend court appearances; research, write, and negotiate settlements.

• Licensed to practice in New Jersey.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in litigation.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• PA bar, or ability to waive into PA, highly desirable.
• Construction and/or bankruptcy litigation experience is a plus.

We are a small creditor’s rights firm specializing in commercial and consumer collection matters, civil litigation and bankruptcy litigation. The firm would also consider taking on a solo practitioner or an attorney with a small book of business, who also has the majority of their time to spend on matters for the firm.
