New to Virtua hires are eligible for a sign‑on bonus of $500.

Performs MRI procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards. Operates MRI equipment safely, following appropriate safety guidelines.

• Consistently performs high‑quality MRI studies according to protocols established by the Radiologists, including proper window and level. Follows protocol for room set‑up, obtains patient assessment form and injection procedures, and demonstrates competence in venipuncture, following established protocols for administering contrast medium.
• Verifies order and patient identification before performing the MRI exam, screens all patients for medical appropriateness of MRI procedure and for potential projectiles, and ensures the patient assessment form is completed and validated before patient enters the MRI room.
• Provides superior customer service to patients and personnel, effectively communicating with all customers, displaying tact and diplomacy, and maintaining supportive relationships.
• Follows appropriate safety guidelines during operation of MRI equipment and adheres to Virtua policies and procedures.

Previous MRI experience preferred.

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

• ARMRIT or CAMRT as a Registered MR Technologist; OR
• ARRT registered plus six (6) months supervised experience in MR scanning; OR
• Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in allied health field plus other imaging modality certification plus six (6) months supervised MR scanning.

MRI board certification preferred.
