We are hiring a Service Clerk responsible for maintaining carts, assisting customers, checking prices, returning merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Read and write English; interact with customers and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑to‑one and small group scenarios with customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift or move up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, and occasionally up to 60 lb.

• Basic PC / Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelf for checkout personnel.
• Pull merchandise from the checkout stand and return it to the proper shelf; walk aisles and return misplaced items to their proper location; face merchandise on aisles as needed.
• Monitor cleanliness of the store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash regularly throughout the day, mop outside walkways, and clean entrance/exit doors daily.
• Monitor cleanliness of the store during the day: sweep, mop, and clean and restock restrooms as needed.

The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and plays a crucial role in maintaining customer service standards and store operations. The role is full‑time and entry level.
