You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule. When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.

You must respond to our attempts to contact you and work at least one shift within 5 months or your employment may be terminated. The myTime app is where you pick up shifts you desire to work.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience and service standards.
• Greet guests, assist with daily tasks, and solve guest needs with a welcoming approach.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and store services to resolve guest issues and improve experiences.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety policies.
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs and fulfillment services; guide guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Explain and demonstrate Target Wallet and other app features.
• Handle returns by following register prompts and escalate to leadership as needed.
• De-escalate situations in collaboration with leaders while maintaining policy compliance.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with stock during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies, ethics, and compliance; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-up orders, and related duties with compliance for alcohol laws where applicable.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed.
