ALL ABOUT STYLE: A team of consultants who understand how to meet our guests where they are and deliver for them through strong operations, guest experience and visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, with in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. Style Consultants welcome and assist guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is full, accurately priced and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

We have an extensive training program to teach you the role. Basic skills to bring is a strong interest in apparel products and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying informed on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to analyze sales, inventory, and guest needs; support replenishment and customer service.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor through priority fills and merchandising.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with proper signing.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by circulating merchandise from fitting rooms to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-Up while complying with applicable laws (adult beverage laws where applicable).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their needs.
• Thank guests and reinforce appreciation for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.

• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and other technology.
• Effective communication skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and multitask within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; frequently lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
