Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2165) role rting hourly rate: $18.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Promote and raise awareness of benefits, offerings, and services; assist with Target Loyalty enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards; minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and assist with features within the Target App including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features.
• Handle returns following store policies, escalate with leadership as needed, and maintain a compliant process.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and DU returns; comply with applicable laws and safety policies.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology as directed; work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within set time frames.

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office tasks as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance as needed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
