Certification Pay up to an Additional 10%

The North Tahoe Event Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Parks & Facilities Maintenance Worker I or II to support the day-to-day upkeep of the facility. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and guest‑ready facility by performing general building maintenance, event set‑ups and breakdowns, minor repairs, cleaning, and equipment operation to support everything from weddings and community events to daily building upkeep.

The role includes both entry-level (I) and journey-level (II) responsibilities, with opportunities to take on more independence as experience grows. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude are essential.

Full‑time, year‑round with excellent benefit package (summary of benefits here) that includes CalPERS pension program, District‑paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents, $3,500 annual contribution to HRA, 12 paid holidays, paid time‑off (sick, personal, vacation), long‑term disability and group life insurance. The District will also support the employee’s certification process.
