Job Overview
Kforce has a client in Vista, CA seeking a detailed‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with Credit Manager to perform day‑to‑day A/R transactions, ensure timely and accurate billing, cash receipts, preliminary notices, and support various accounting functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Process accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Create new customer accounts in the system
- Print and review the daily open sales order report, request preliminary information from customers
- Prepare preliminary notices
- Process lien waiver releases
- Release sales orders from credit holds
- Update and maintain customer tax exemption certificates li>
- Assist in month‑end close process
- Compile documentation and information for audits as needed
- Handle special accounting projects and assignments as required
Assist with customer collections and follow‑up activities
- Computer literate: accounting software, spreadsheet applications, word processor; experience with Microsoft Dynamics helpful but not required
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail‑oriented, ability to multi‑task
- Maintain professionalism under pressure
- Follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines
- Work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
- Interact with customers and all levels of personnel professionally
