YOUR ROLE

Under the supervision of the Cargo Flow Manager, you will have to contribute to the optimization of the cargo space allocation on board of the vessels of which you are in charge.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • On a daily basis, you will have to monitor container dispatching operations in our transhipment ports and ensure the compliance with routing standards and, if need be, propose an evacuation plan of volumes.
  • You will have to inform commercial executives, the Operations Department and agents you work with about the decisions of your superiors.
  • You will have to produce statistics on loading rates for both ports of loading and final destinations, on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
  • Finally, you will have to follow up on agents for expected volumes in order to control the relevancy of allocated spaces.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You are currently completing a Master in International Trade or Logistics and have a strong interest in logistics optimization.
  • You have ideally a first professional experience (ideally abroad) and had the opportunity to show autonomy and initiative.
  • You speak English fluently, have perfect command of Excel and are accurate with figures.
  • Your ability to anticipate, responsiveness and analytical skills will enable you to be successful in the performance of your duties.
