The Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories.

He/sheprovides superior customer service by understanding and demonstrating the characteristics, capabilities, and features of various vehicles and by developing and qualifying a customer base that will lead to the sale and delivery of vehicles.

The ideal candidate hasa positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Sales experience (in any industry) is highly preferred, but not required. Candidates must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

• Understands the automobile business by studying model characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; and inspecting automobiles
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting potential clients, responding to inquiries, and setting firm appointments
• Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests, matching requirements and interests to various models, and building rapport
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking demonstration drives; and explaining warranties and services
• Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sale, negotiating terms, completing sale, delivering automobile, and following up after the sale
• Provides sales management information by completing reports
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and completing OEM Training Modules
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Strong desire to meet sales goals
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Strong telephone, texting, email, and social media communication skills
• Active listening skills

The Representative Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.50. The position also pays potential commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales at the rate of 25% per sales achieved without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position may also pay bonuses that range from $500.00 per month with an upper limit of $3,000.00 based on total units sales and CSI.
