The Role Delivers

The Account Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction with our products, processes, and services, and for achieving sales and profitability goals in the defined territory through effective business planning and market development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed yearly financial goals by maximizing sales, profitability, market share, and contribution in line with company targets.
  • Maintain customer accounts and ensure they understand payment terms, track leading indicators, and partner with Accounts Receivable when needed.
  • Analyze the business environment for optimal product positioning and develop, execute, and maintain territory business plans in CRM with internal stakeholders.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships; provide a compelling value proposition using technical proof points and effective solutions packages.
  • Deliver product education and guidance on appropriate product applications.
  • Embrace technology to add value to customer service offerings, acting as the primary contact between customers and regional support.
  • Conduct commercial demonstrations to increase adoption of new product concepts and solve technical issues.
  • Network at industry events and associations to expand sales opportunities.
  • Pursue continuous learning of the product portfolio and regulatory requirements, and communicate improvements to leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Agricultural, life sciences, or related field desired.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Travel dependent on location (estimated 30‑40%).
  • Strong scientific/technical understanding and ability to educate customers.
  • Prior CRM experience preferred.
