Team Member, Retail

The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform duties such as operating cash registers, merchandise recovery, participating in freight process, completing merchandising procedures, assembling merchandise, performing janitorial duties, executing price changes, assisting with loading purchases, and ensuring a safe environment for birds.
• Complete all documentation related to these duties.

Required Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or farming knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required; must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Preferred Skills

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, push, pull merchandise up to specified weights, and operate store equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and complete training/certification requirements.
