Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) rting hourly rate: $18.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and educate them about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and assist with gaps in guest knowledge.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features and offerings within the Target App (including Wallet) and Guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns following Target policies and escalate to leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and training; report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws when relevant).
• Perform other duties as needed by business needs.

• Physical capability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; ability to stand and move for extended periods.
