JoinOur Team as a Manufacturing Process Manager I!
The Manufacturing Process Manager I oversees all plant manufacturing functions and focuses on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction. The Manager supervises production staff and creates a successful team culture through coaching and mentoring. They are also accountable for various manufacturing key process indicators.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- 3 years of experience in a leadership position
- Background in the steel industry with hands‑on experience in welding processes and techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency with technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite; must be capable of creating and managing spreadsheets, reports, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to adapt to new systems and tools relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Budget management background
- Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.
- Enjoy hands‑on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.
- Are comfortable working in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
- Value safety, organization, and continuous improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage Compass shipping, scheduling, and delivery
- Report on weekly forecast tons and hours
- Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
- Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
- Create process goals and monitor efficiency
- Administer inventory control
- Mentor new hires and employee department transfers
- Ensure all inspections are complete
- Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system
The expected pay scale for this role is $88,000.00-$93,000.00 annually, depending on experience, skill set, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for annual bonus, health, and welfare benefits and 401(k) match in accordance with Blue Scope policies.
