Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2nd & 3rd shift (Weekends when needed)
Payrate: $20.00 DOE
Duties and Responsibilities
* Able to follow the work schedule and instructions to complete each work order ticket correctly and on time.
* Inspect all the tooling prior and after each production run to ensure they are clean and are in good working condition. Including printing plates, inks, filters, film, doctor blades, rollers, impression drum and other parts.
* Be able to set up the machine according to the job's configuration settings, follow special customer instructions and operate the printing press machine.
* Make any machine adjustments, if necessary, before and during each run to ensure that the final product follows product specifications and all customer quality standards are maintained.
* Strive to minimize production waste in all materials used through the adherence of proper procedures. For example, but not limited to film, inks, solvent, and additives.
* Document production runs correctly on each work order run sheet.
* Perform any preventative maintenance and routine repairs, along with daily/weekly housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workplace environment.
* Adhere to all BRC food safety and workplace safety programs/requirements stated by the company.
Preferred Qualifications and Education
* Experience in flexographic printing press.
* Working knowledge of flexographic printing process.
* Manufacturing background, as well as process improvement and procedures.
* Forklift certified.
* A highly motivated person who can multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy in a fast-changing environment.
* Require a general knowledge of manufacturing methods and equipment.
* Good verbal and writing, detail-oriented, and a team player.
* Must be detail orientated with documentation/record keeping.
