EssentialJob Functions Of TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
- Provide technical assistance and support on issues related to computer systems, software, and regularly monitor the internal help desk system for pending tickets and update tickets with information.
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem and help walk customer through problem‑solving.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
- Document all incidents and occurrences using clear, concise, and detailed notes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Windows and Mac OS.
- Familiar with VOIP.
- Ability to work and learn independently.
