* * 7630 Radiology-KHMCThe Imaging Services Manager is primarily responsible for the majority of imaging services that are performed in Kaweah Health. Supports the Director with all of the essential management responsibilities to operate the department efficiently and responsibly.#

** QUALIFICATIONS License /Certification
Required:
CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT); or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
Preferred:
Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
CT Tech Experience Education Preferred:
Bachelor's degree

Three years leadership experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Supervises, trains, counsels, guides, and evaluates assigned staff. Consults Director in disciplinary decisions. Hires qualified, competent staff members for vacant positions.
Reviews and monitors timekeeping of team and assures each staff member is taking breaks and lunches daily. Follows up with Director and staff if they are not following policies regarding their time, clocking, tardiness, or absenteeism
Consults with lead technologists in each area to maintain scheduling of patients to acceptable time frames and appropriate sequencing. Consults with lead technologists regarding work flow in the department. Assuring all studies are completed within a reasonable and proper time frame.
Maintains positive morale within department.
Prepares and monitors department budget and maintains productivity within approved guidelines.
Assures that courtesy and expedience are an integral part of Imaging Services.
Assures department compliance in all areas with state, local and Joint Commission requirements.
Assures that all Imaging equipment is in proper working condition.
Becomes familiar with the Radiology and hospital computers.
Maintains good communication and good rapport with other departments and medical staff.
Responsible for all assigned imaging business.
Reports all work-related injuries/illnesses to Employee Health. Staff should be assigned to light duty following these incidents whenever possible.
Determines the qualifications and competence level for department staff. Makes recommendations regarding required staffing levels.
Continually assesses and improves department performance.
Can competently serve as Director designee when appropriate.
Maintains policy and procedure manual. In-services staff when changes occur.
Additional Maintains par levels of inventory in areas of responsibility.
Enhances professional growth and maintains awareness of current industry trends, legislation or research which could impact department and the Kaweah Health.
Provides orientation, in-services and continuing education for staff.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Knowledgeable of growth and development for all patient/family cultural, linguistic, spiritual, gender, and age specific needs. Able to effectively communicate and care for patient and family as reflected in the Plan for Provision of Care.
** Pay Range**$55.40 -$83.09
