Relationship Manager Development Program (RMDP)

. The RMDP is a training and development role designed to combine credit analysis and relationship management. Participants start as Credit Analysts (CA) and, after completing all training, are expected to advance into full Relationship Manager positions within 18‑24 months. As a CA, you will analyze credit information on current and potential borrowers, determine the advisability of credit for diversified loan types, assist loan officers in writing loan requests, promote business for the Bank, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all training aspects of the Relationship Manager Development Program (RMDP).
- Assist Relationship Managers in pre‑qualification assessment and risk analysis of financing requests within the Bank’s credit culture and current economic/industry trends.
- Prepare spreadsheets and analyze financial information, including financial statements and tax returns.
- Compile data from credit bureaus, conduct industry peer comparisons, and perform cash flow analysis.
- Underwrite loan requests for RM review; recommend loan structures and terms to loan officers.
- Assist Relationship Managers in reviewing and renewing credit facilities and conducting annual loan reviews of term‑loan customers.
- Provide direct assistance to Regional Presidents and Relationship Managers during customer calls, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel.
- Strong customer service orientation and a willingness to prioritize the customer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational/time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Target Compensation: $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
