College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Spanish within the Language/Communication Studies Department continuously. Screening committees will evaluate candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need, applications remain in the queue for consideration until the need arises or for one year in active status.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. The majority of departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. Adjunct faculty will also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed. Class assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.
