PositionInformation
College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Portuguese within its Language/Communication Studies Department continuously. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant of an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, applications remain in the queue for consideration until the need arises, or for one year in active status.
Part-TimeAdjunct Pools
Part-Time Adjunct Faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.
If you submit a duplicate application, only your most recent will remain active for one year.
Part-Time Adjunct faculty positions are temporary positions and do not accrue rights to tenure.

Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. The majority of our departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. Current course listings are available in the Academic Catalog. Adjunct faculty will also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed.
QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for all disciplines may be found within the "Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges".
