• Responsible for safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging.
• Transport unit(s), conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and handle set‑up and take‑down procedures.
• Wash/clean tractor/trailer exterior and interior; perform minor maintenance.
• Comply with Akumin standards and procedures, FMCSR requirements, and FMCSR knowledge.
• Complete required documentation and reporting; manage wait time and tractor services.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license in the state of residence and DOT medical certification.
• 1 year of commercial tractor‑trailer experience, FMCSR knowledge, basic computer skills.
• Ability to work any schedule Monday‑Sunday, including 2nd & 3rd shifts.
• Local travel required.
• All candidates must successfully complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.

• Employee may be exposed to strong magnetic fields or environmental hazards such as noise and travel.
• Standard office environment.
• More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients.
• Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift 10‑100 pounds.
