SAIIA Construction Company LLC, a Mastec company, is currently hiring for a CDL Roll Off / Dump Truck driver
. CDL A or B is accepted and we will train you to operate the equipment! A bonus of $1,500 is available over the course of the first year of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Performs pre- and post-trip DOT inspections of the assigned tandem or tri-axle dump or roll off truck and documents findings.
  • Safely drives dual and tri-axle trucks and transports materials to various destinations.
  • Uses in-truck devices to dump contents of bed and tilt body.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work truck with regular maintenance.
  • Inspects loads before transport to ensure proper loading.
  • Verifies stability of the site prior to dumping.
  • Maintains Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Superintendent or Facility Manager directions and expectations for each project or jobsite.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to drive an automatic or manual shift truck.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and process documents such as operating and maintenance manuals, scheduling charts, policy and procedure manuals, repair records, maps, DOT regulations and equipment performance handbooks.
  • Professional and effective communication with coworkers, leaders, customers and third-party vendors.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
  • Common sense problem-solving in standardized situations.
  • Attends routine safety meetings.
  • Knowledge of EPA, state EPA, DOT, OSHA, MSHA and related regulations.
  • Proficiency with email, smartphone, tablet or computer to manage company information.
  • Maintains regular attendance per employee handbook policies.
