Assistant Coach – WAGE
The Assistant Coach (WAGE) provides assistance in specific aspects of coaching the Division II sport program, including but not limited to student‑athlete recruitment, practice preparation, setup, and player development.

- Attend practices and facilitate player conditioning.
- Participate actively in practices.
- Support student‑athletes academically and maintain confidentiality of records.
- Create a positive and productive environment for athletes.
- Travel to away games and attend home games.
- Track player statistics during games and practices.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with coaches and athletes.
- Provide feedback to the head coach regarding players and team as necessary.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning facilities before and after practices.
- Offer guidance and information to athletes on game strategy.
- Encourage and support athletes.
- Organize team for practices and games.
- Coordinate with head coach regarding relevant issues or problems.
- Assist with administrative duties as assigned.
- Learn sport‑specific techniques and game strategies as instructed.
- Maintain social media accounts and create graphics to promote the program.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Education:
Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. - Experience:
None required. - Licensure:
None. - Ability to travel a reasonable distance to attend meetings and programs.
