We are seeking Group Class Instructors to join our team at our client site in Haymarket, VA. This is an as-needed/substitute position, with hours depending on demand and scheduling.
In this role, you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes to members participating in our programs. We are specifically looking for Water Aerobics instructors, Yoga instructors, and General Group Exercise instructors.
Minimum Requirements- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT is required for general classes.
- Current Health Fitness-approved 200-hour+ Yoga certification is required to teach Yoga.
- Current AEA certification is required to teach water aerobics classes.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute are required within 30 days of hire.
- 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems is required.
- Applicants must meet all hiring requirements, including pre-employment drug testing.
Compensation ranges from $30.00/hr to $42.00/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
