Frontend Development Engineer

We’re looking for a front-end engineer to join our website development team to modernize our e-commerce platform and website. This is a role to work on high-level, complex projects with large-scale and high-impact systems.

• Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase
• Mentoring team members and modeling best coding practices
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Research new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions.
• Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business Stakeholders to understand and gather requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performance.
• Desire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in front end web development.
• Proficient understanding of the following:
• Have a sharp eye and attention to detail for both the visual rendering and coding.
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Knowledge of Graph
  
  QL and REST APIs.
• Ability to implement responsive design across all devices and platforms, and debug complex layout/styling issues.
• Extensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performance.
• Desire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environment.
