Family Advocate Franklin

Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP), a community action agency, is seeking a full-time Family Advocate for the Early Head Start/Head Start program. This position works directly with families to support child and family well-being, encourage parent involvement, and connect families with community resources. The Family Advocate serves as a liaison between the classroom and home while maintaining regular contact with families and supporting program enrollment and services.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (associate’s degree in human services or related field preferred), relevant experience working with families or community programs, and strong communication and organizational skills. A valid Virginia Driver’s License meeting agency insurability requirement is required. Candidates must be able to pass required background checks.
