This highly skilled position involves operating heavy equipment in an open pit mine environment. Successful candidates will have experience with equipment such as motor graders, bulldozers, excavators, and front‑end loaders.

• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned on a temporary basis.
• Report any problems to your manager.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Must pass a pre‑employment “Fit to Work” physical.
• Must partner with other quarry employees as instructed by the facility manager to ensure daily schedules are met.
• Attendance must meet the company’s attendance policy to ensure crew efficiency.
• Physical ability to operate equipment under extreme temperatures and for extended periods.
• Initiative to perform or assist with other positions for job completions.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co‑workers, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including day, night, and weekend hours, at various locations.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA safety guidelines as well as company policies.
• Follow the instructions of the supervisor or facility manager to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required.
