Data Center Cable Technician Helper

Our client has multiple needs open for entry level Cable Technicians. These technicians will be learning cabling on a grand scale. They have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for their end client throughout their data center. The Helper’s role will be to assist the higher level Techs and the Team Leads in building out the infrastructure which includes pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, and build server racks.

More than likely helpers will start by installing cable trays and building the server racks.

• Any telecom experience (Installing cable trays, pulling cable/fiber, punch down, termination).
• Experience working with hand tools.
• Construction experience, following blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Sandston, VA.
