We are seeking candidates with a strong background and knowledge with the assembly and installation of furniture from all kinds of manufacturers.
Job Requirements Responsibilities- Candidate must be able to move furniture.
- Candidate must be able to successfully assemble any kind of furniture, including fitness equipment.
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and carry heavy equipment.
- Ability to professionally communicate and interact with customers in English.
- Ability to react to problems and create solutions (problem‑solving skills required).
- Ability to explain problems and solutions to customers.
- Self‑motivated and able to take initiative.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage job times and organize priorities.
- Must have a professional appearance and good personality.
- High School Diploma/GED (minimum) with experience assembling furniture.
- One year minimum experience in installations and assembly of furniture.
- One year minimum experience assembling IKEA furniture.
- Experience assembling office furniture and home furniture.
- Advanced experience using power tools (cordless drill, corded drills, hammer, screwdriver).
- Must be available to work Monday–Sunday.
- Must be available for overtime, evening and weekend work as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Candidates must possess a reliable car to get to jobs.
- Must pass a legal background and drug test.
- Must be legally allowed to work in the USA.
- Physical requirements:
ability to stand, walk, kneel for long periods; ability to bend, bend, stand and walk for a long period; ability to carry and transport heavy equipment with or without team members; ability to lift heavy items up to 100 lbs continuously; ability to work safely.
- 30‑day warranty on all assembly jobs.
- Full‑time and part‑time positions available.
- Competitive pay rate depending on experience ($12‑$15/hr).
