A Mold Remediation Technician is a key component of our team providing restoration services to our customers. As you grow in experience, here are some of the things you will do:
- Perform mold inspections and assessments
- Develop and implement mold remediation plans
- Remove and dispose of mold-contaminated materials
- Utilize industry-standard equipment and techniques for mold removal
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
- Work with power tools and perform demolition as needed
- Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are performed in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with customers regarding scope of work and necessary paperwork
- Document all related information of loss including notes, sketches, and equipment counts
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
- Previous experience in mold removal and remediation a plus
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves & get dirty
- Empathy, Friendly, and a positive can-do attitude
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the Restoration Industry
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable with walking/standing for long periods of time, working at elevated heights, and working in restricted spaces while wearing PPE
- Ability to pass a drug test & extensive background screening
- Available for full time role with overtime, on-call rotations, and state-wide traveling
