We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.

In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

• Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.
• Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
• Programming and installation of head‑end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
• Leading on‑site software commissioning and testing.
• Conducting inspections, evaluations and inventory; performing take‑off project drawings.
• Documenting and tracking RFIs.
• Design assist and feedback.
• Documenting daily reports and project progress.
• Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management.
• Creating and managing project schedule, integrating IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
• Forecasting and managing project labor hours; communicating effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
• Guiding and mentoring technicians.
• 100% travel.

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Key Requirements:

• Requires a valid driver’s license; this position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
• Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.

Education:

• HS diploma or GED, military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours).
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Required Progressive

Experience:

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
• 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.
• Must be able to travel 50%.
