As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Rover Driver in Crozier, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and unusual activity with calm, clear communication. This post requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a valid driver’s license, offering a role where integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture guide every shift.

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance as needed and completing required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors in accordance with post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site representatives.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age. (Armed roles require 21+.)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
