Security Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of 18 years of age.

* Clear a criminal background check.

* High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.

Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing. Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.

* Supervision & Leadership:
Oversee daily activities of security officers, ensuring they follow post orders, maintain professionalism, and provide excellent customer service.

* Incident Management:
Respond to and manage emergencies, accidents, and criminal acts, investigating and completing detailed reports (Incident Reports, Daily Activity Reports).

* Training & Compliance:
Ensure officers are trained on life safety systems (fire panels, CCTV), emergency procedures, and company policies, enforcing adherence.

* Patrol & Monitoring:
Conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance equipment, and check access points (doors, elevators) for safe operation.

* Reporting & Communication:
Communicate new security issues and changes to the Security Supervisor and provide recommendations for improved safety and loss prevention.

* Customer Service:
Uphold strong customer service, greeting visitors and maintaining a friendly, professional presence within the mall environment.
