** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.

+ Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing access control procedures.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

+ Adhere to all weapon handling protocols and maintain readiness to respond to security-related threats as an armed professional.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
