As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic transportation environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for travelers and staff. Thur 03:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sat 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including those related to access control at transportation locations.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering secure areas, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, adhering to emergency response procedures as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within designated areas and around the perimeter of the location to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during shifts according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary in accordance with procedures.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed while maintaining access control.
• Remain alert to security‑related risks and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate parties.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
