Insurance Sales Agent - King George, VA

Overview

Virginia Farm Bureau is looking to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the King George County Farm Bureau Office located in King George, VA.

Are you a driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual? If so, this position is for you. Success in this role will require excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships and a desire to help and serve your community members and organizations.

• Review and service an existing book of business as a W-2 employee agent.
• Receive a base salary plus commissions on new sales, with numerous bonuses and opportunities for top performers (including eligibility for elaborate trips).
• Engage with clients to sell insurance products and provide ongoing support.
• Participate in company-provided sales and systems training.

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or the ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Prior sales experience (any industry) is helpful but not required.
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed.
