Join us this summer at Camp Easterseals Virginia (ESVA) as the Camp Kitchen Manager. In this role, you will play an essential part in creating meal plans and preparing delicious, nutritious meals that meet the unique needs of our campers and staff.

As the Camp Kitchen Manager, you will:

• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals tailored to meet dietary needs, including food allergies and pureed meals for those with swallowing difficulties.
• Place food orders and create meal plans for up to 80 individuals.
• Lead a team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and all meals are served on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards.

• Competitive Pay: $20 per hour.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of 2 years’ experience with meal preparation and food service.
• General knowledge of preparing, cooking, and serving food in large quantities, especially in a special dietary environment.
• Ability to supervise and support kitchen staff.
• Physically capable of assisting with kitchen tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and food preparation.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
