The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a dependable, organized, and safety-focused Preschool Cook to oversee all food service operations for our childcare center. This role is essential in supporting a healthy, positive experience for children by ensuring safe meal preparation, allergy management, and strong kitchen organization.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in alignment with center menus and dietary guidelines.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, food storage, and sanitation.
• Maintain accurate allergy lists and communicate with classroom staff to ensure child safety.
• Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations, including HACCP standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with state and local licensing requirements.
• Work collaboratively with center leadership to support smooth daily operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or school/childcare food service preferred.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
