The Budd Group is hiring for a landscape crew member for a private all-girls school in Chatham, VA. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable full-time Landscape Crew Member to join our groundskeeping team.

The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of groundskeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure the school's campus, athletic fields, and common areas are attractive and well-maintained throughout the year.

Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, weed-eating, and blowing.

Execute seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, pruning, and leaf removal.

Maintain the health of turf, trees, and shrubbery through proper watering, fertilization, and pest management.

Operate and perform basic maintenance on landscaping equipment safely and effectively.

Assist with seasonal needs, including potential snow or ice removal and storm clean-up.

Ensure all walkways, patios, and campus common areas are clean and free of debris.

Work collaboratively with the facilities team to prepare the campus for school events.

This is a full-time position.

Daily hours may vary, generally falling between 6:30 AM and 3:30PM
.

Some weekend work is required to support school operations and seasonal demands.

Proven Experience: Must have previous professional experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a proven track record of high-quality work.

Reliable Transportation: Must have consistent and reliable transportation to and from our Chatham,VA campus.

Technical Skill: Knowledge of standard landscaping practices, plant care, and safe operation of landscape machinery.

Work Ethic: Must be punctual, self-motivated, and able to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
