About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Nurse – Virginia

Schedule:
12-hour shifts with every third weekend; 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule
Highlights:
Labor & delivery in a high-volume LDRP maternal-infant unit with 24 beds
1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for labor patients
Full-spectrum care: vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, antepartum, newborn, and post-partum care
Modern technology including GE fetal monitors, Meditech EMR, and CPN charting
Supportive team of 71+ staff including leadership, educators, and specialized unit techs
Structured orientation and evidence-based maternal care protocols
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
Active RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications
Experience in high-volume LDRP settings strongly preferred
