Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This night/day shift position (3x12-hour shifts) offers a weekly total of $2,025 and is ideal for nurses passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide care and support through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progress
Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency interventions
Administer medications and manage epidurals or Pitocin per physician orders
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active Virginia RN license (Compact license accepted)
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN) preferred
Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery experience
Ability to work in high-stress situations and respond quickly to emergencies
